Support Florida's Ocean and Coast
Florida is fortunate to have incredible coastal ecosystems and marine wildlife — an iconic, natural environment surrounded by and dependent on clean water.
From the Panhandle to the Florida Keys, you’re never more than 60 miles from the ocean and 60 miles closer to some of the most pervasive water quality issues in the United States.
Speak up for Florida and tell your legislators you support improving Florida’s water quality.
Water quality issues can and do occur anywhere in Florida. From harmful algal blooms and fish kills to warming waters and habitat loss, Florida residents and visitors face losing treasured sanctuaries and economic resources.
Just last month, Biscayne Bay was the site of a major fish kill event, wiping out huge stocks of recreationally and culturally significant fish. Biscayne Bay is the watery backyard of one of Florida’s most important economic engines, and unless we push decision-makers to ensure meaningful laws are put in place to protect our natural resources, Florida’s beloved coasts are at risk.
